Point Trading Launches World First Night Vision Aviation Goggles

This year's Avalon Airshow saw the launch of Point Trading’s next generation night vision aviation goggles. The VDA member's product was launched by Victorian Defence Industry Advocate, Hon. Greg Combet on 1 March from the exposition hall.

Point Trading declared that the goggles, named Night Eyes, a revolutionary step forward in aviation night vision technology. The technology used in Night Eyes was developed in Victoria using local R&D.

Night Eyes night vision goggles“I am really excited about our new product and even more excited that the goggles are Australian owned and made,” Point Trading CEO, Mr Avner Klein said.

“Nights Eyes offer several significant improvements over the competition including, electronic wireless logbook records transmission, world first digital data collection function and analysis as well as better product accuracy when in use” Mr Klein said.

“These features mean that pilots are going to find it much easier to do their jobs out in the field,” he said.

The Night Eyes product is approved by the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) making it unique amongst its competitors.

The product also carries the Australian Made symbol having the Federal Government's strict Australian Made certification criteria.
