Breakthrough for local software provider

Victorian software developer and VDA Land Alliance member Logistic Engineering Services (LES) has secured a major breakthrough

with its Electronic Maintenance Requirements Determination (eMRD) software application approved for use on the Defence Protected Network (DPN).

LES has entered into a long-term contract with Defence for the supply of eMRD software licences and its ongoing support.

Since 2011, eMRD has been used by a number of System Program Offices and agencies across Defence as a stand-alone application.

The contract facilitates the aggregation of the stand-alone licences onto the DPN and will be deployed in early September 2017.

eMRD was developed by LES to simplify the ADF Maintenance Requirements Determination (MRD) process.
